Elizabeth Cadence's ArkEdit

We don't really need an article based on "unknown", "not known", "guess", "not given a name nor location in the actual game", et cetera, although the time — and effort you put in the article — are appreciated. I hope you understand that there would already be a few other "important" Ark articles if any of the other contributors thought that adding articles mostly based on speculations is a good idea.

Before I delete your article, and if you have some time to spare, please consider creating a new section ("Notable Arks"?) in the Ark article to include the info you've just added — along with the Raine's (437a), Kvasir's (perhaps "It's not known where his Ark was located, but after escaping from the Authority research facility in the Dead City he settled up in an abandoned Ark in the location now called Kvasir's Chasm"? :)), Marshall's (Subway Town Resistance Base, I suppose), and Cross's & Casey's (Capital Prime) Ark details. If you don't want to spend the time and describe the other notable Arks, then please please just move your article's content to the Elizabeth Cadence article. to the top of the page would provide much better result — and also won't mess with the page structure :))

First of all, you don't need a "permission" to create an article. What you need is an approach that will help you to fit the new content to the wiki. In other case, any contributor can add the article you created to the "Candidates for deletion" category, which will mean that you have to talk to an admin anyway. In our case, you just skipped a step or two :)

The article in question doesn't contain much info not based on speculation (well, except for the comic details — but we already have the basic After the Impact article that could possibly use some expansion…), and Elizabeth's Ark is one of the few Arks in the game that have some distinctive in-game "roots". Why adding more speculations and other data not that easy for an average player to verify, not to mention to obtain the comic or the book? And we do have the Ark article anyway…

Of course I don't mind having more data on the wiki, but adding more "Elizabeth Cadence's Ark"-like" content isn't a good idea. I mean, we have a rather liberal policy on hypotheses here, and some articles contain a few assumptions, but still, see the guideline and think a little.

…UPD: I'm experiencing some strange Internet connection problems for a few hours already, and after the most recent Recent Activity update I can see you've had a kind of conversation with AKtrollin… Don't be hard on him — he earned the adminship, and he's just trying to adjust the info you added. Don't know what to tell you. I believe the info you're trying to add may be of certain value to the wiki, but still, try adding the details to the Ark Survivors personal pages and to the Ark article first. — k78talk 01:51, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

I was telling you the mistakes you had made. If you took it wrong, I am sorry. I am trying to keep the wiki as well pollished as I can, and if you are going to make the edit twice, I will inform you to look out for the problem.

It was not me that messaged you earlier. It was one of the two bureaucrats, Kryon78 or Vlad. He, as well as I, would believe your errors with bulleting and incorrect text is not proper for a wiki. Also, don't be so obseen with language when messaging someone. I am not and will not "ride your ass" as you say, but will inform you to change your editing if it is incorrect. No problem. I would recommend for you as a new editor to check the guideline page under "community" as it will help you see what this wiki needs and expects from us loyal editors. :)

Your work looks as if it is for the better good of the wiki, and going into detail on subjects dealing with After the Impact was never something I was concerned with, but it sounds interesting. The items on the Colorado rockies are not confirmed, so please keep any sort of speculation to the talk page of the respective page. Thank you,
