	—Description

The Fabricator is one of the three basic armor classes in RAGE. It gives the protagonist perks on the engineering items he creates using schematics. It is one of the three (four with the Anarchy Edition / Campaign Edition) armor suits chosen during the quest "Changing Clothes".

The perks vary by item and range from extra damage to extended duration.

• Extra damage: Wingsticks, EMP Grenades.
• Extra durability: RC Bomb Cars, Sentry Bots, Sentry Turrets
• Increased production: Dynamite Bolts, Fat Mammas, Mind Control Bolts, Pop Rockets
• Extended duration: Adrenaline Overdrive, Authority Augmenter, Regenerative Infusion
• Superior effects: Apophis Infusion

Notes

• The heavy armor upgrade displays five shields, like all suits upgraded as such. It does not, however, give as much protection as Roughneck.
• The icon displays no sleeves or goggles, and a looser, "mage-like" hood.
